Travis Pastrana normally exudes what seems to be an unending supply of positive energy. This makes his interviews quite fun. At WRC Rally GB, however, it was a different story. Pastrana was visibly agitated by his ongoing problems with the course. Watch this exclusive video to see the other side of Travis: Still upbeat, but obviously agitated. While it is no secret that Subaru has been earnestly working on a new
diesel powerplant for some time now, what has not been clear is when
and where these new engines would find a home. That wait is over.
Subaru recently announced the release of a 2.0-liter turbo diesel in
the form of the Euro-only Legacy Sports Tourer Estate and Legacy
Outback Estate; that’s Brit for station wagon. Currently, the diesel
engine is only available in wagon trim, but Subaru says the engine will
soon find its way into the Legacy Sedan, followed by the new Forester
and ultimately the new Impreza one production of the new engine ramps
up.
