Throughout most of the year, rally teams keep their eyes on the Rally
America national championship while simultaneously working for an
invitation to the prestigious X-Games rally racing event in August. But
at the New England Forest Rally, the championship fight took a back
seat to an all-out effort to win the last remaining invitation to the X
Games.

Just posted the text from the August issue for online subscribers. You'll also notice a couple updates in the Project Car section (freely accessible).
Also, just realised we've been having some menu issues with IE6. Though it's a really poor excuse for a browser, we are working to get this fixed. In case you didn't notice, you IE6 users can't see the swankly pull-down menus that are really necessary to navigate the site. For what it's worth The site works fine on IE7 and the current FireFox release.
Update: menus now work in all browsers IE6+, Firefox, Safari, etc. If you're still using IE5 you're beyond help.

At last we had a chance to test drive the 2008 Subaru Impreza. What do
we think of it? Unfortunately, you’ll have to wait until August for our

meanwhile, we have some solid facts we wanted to share with you about
this new car.

The Oregon Trail Rally takes its name from the historic route that
pioneers traveled to reach the west coast in the 1840s. Hundreds of
wagon trains set out to travel the Oregon Trail over the years, but
many of them never made it to the end.
