How to Recycle Subiesport Magazine PDF Print E-mail
Written by Ryan Douthit
As a Subaru owner, we expect you have a certain level of respect for our planet. As such, we hope that you will choose to recycle your copies of Subiesport Magazine when the time comes.

Before resorting to disposal of your back-issues, consider selling them on EBay or donating them to local community center where they will receive re-use.

If it's time to recycle your copies of Subiesport Magazine, please note we've used two different methods for binding over the years: square-bound and staple-stitched. Please follow the proper procedure for recycling based on the spine in question.

1. Use a razor or scissors to cut away the magazine binding. Unfortunately, the spines of perfect-bound (square) magazines are not recyclable and must be discarded.
2. The loose pages may now be recycled* as "Mixed Paper."

Recycling staple-stitched copies of Subiesport Magazine (2008+)

1. From the middle of the magazine, remove staples by bending the staples away from the binding.
2. Pull out the staples from the back of the magazine.
3. 100% of the magazine (staples and pages) may now be recycled* as "Mixed Paper."

* Subiesport's covers may be problematic for some older de-inking machines used in the recycling process due to the use of exterior UV coating. Check with your local recycling agency to see if paper treated with this process can be recycled.

Note: Though some areas may allow magazines with glued spines to be tossed in the recycling bin, the glue itself is not recycleable and will be removed in the screening process.
