First-time Subaru owner Nick DiBlasi had a problem. Back in early 2001,
the WRX had just hit the United States market and was truly the next
big thing. “I had always wondered what the craze was about Subarus,”
Nick explained. “It always seemed like it was a cult thing, but once I
bought it I understood why people loved them so much.”

The first Subiefest, back in November 2006, was a day that 2.5RS owner
Jeremy Potter would not soon forget. After all, taking Best of Show at
Subiefest 2006, Subiesport Magazine’s first all Subaru-event, was no
easy task.

Strapping into a 400 hp drift car might not be one of the smartest
things I have ever done. Granted, there is a list of moments in my life
that could be classified as “less than intelligent”, but that is not
really what I am thinking about at this point.
